Something special happens when we get in a room together. We all carved new paths for ourselves, so coming back to Alexisonfire is a purely enjoyable creative venture. But when we went away, it only got bigger. We spent so much time on the road thinking that if we stopped, people would lose interest. The only reason to come back is if we feel we still have something to say. He adds of the album as a whole: 'As much as we love playing the old songs, we don't want to be a nostalgia act. 'It's kind of about performance and embracing a new found confidence in a state of peculiarity.' ABBA won the Eurovision Song Contest 1974 at The Dome in. They became one of the most commercially successful acts in the history of popular music, topping the charts worldwide from 1974 to 1982. 'This song was largely Dallas' brain child, but over the course of writing this record, it became more of a mission statement for the band,' explains George Pettit. ABBA were a Swedish pop group formed in Stockholm in 1972 by members Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. The follow-up to 2009’s Old Crows / Young Cardinals, the record is due out on June 24 via Dine Alone, with lead single Sweet Dreams Of Otherness out now (listen below). Alexisonfire have announced details of their first album in 13 years, Otherness.
